| Why we launched Kerplunkit |
Like a brave ship lifting it's sails and feeling the winds of another cruise - with hope lighting the water's crest...
all seriousness aside...
we are three veterans of writing, producing, recording, licensing and marketing music.
We have over 75 years of journeys in the biz between us and we have come to the following conclusions:
1) People like music they know.
2) You never know who is listening. It doesn't matter how good your music is - success relates directly to who knows about it.
3) A piece of music is also a piece of property - like a house or a car. Artists who create a great musical property deserve to get paid fairly for it - and most people can relate to that.
4) A musical artist will get cheated when signing a traditional record deal and the people who love to listen to great music will pay too much for it.
5) Thanks to technology there is a new, better, equitable business model for artists and for people who love to listen to great music - that is -we don't need the old way of doing things anymore!
